Tomm Warneke started playing tennis when he was 5 years old. He was ranked #1 in Florida throughout his junior career. As a senior in high school Tomm was invited to play on the Junior Davis Cup Team.
From 1980 to 1984, he attended Trinity University on a full tennis scholarship. Tomm was recognized 4 times as a Collegiate All-American, he played on 2 Collegiate Davis Cup Teams before earning a degree in Business Administration.
Tomm has been teaching tennis for 32 years and certified as a USPTA instructor for the past 21 years. He coached the Number 1 World Ranked Junior Tennis players in 1988 and traveled the world with them.
Today, Warneke is the Director of Tennis for Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Florida where he has lived for 15 years. Tomm is married to Laura and they have two daughters. |
